Fairness through transparency.

Most quotes are one number. Put yours in and we'll work out what the job is worth: the average cost of the materials, what's left for the work, and how it sits against published Canberra prices.

Customers get the same fair answer whether they know the trade or not, and however good they are at haggling. Tradies can check their own price before it goes out: under, over, or in the competitive range.

Why this exists

When prices are open, everyone wins.

Trades tend to compete on price until nobody wins: the cheapest quote takes the job, and the business doing it slowly goes broke. There's no prize for winning work that's too cheap. And being in demand is a good reason to be booked out, not a reason to overcharge.

Roughly puts the same published numbers in front of customers and tradies. Nobody has to agree on anything, and every business still sets its own price. We just show what a job is worth once you follow the average cost of materials and labour. When everyone can see that, fair prices win the work.
